On Friday, Nov. 22 at around 2 p.m., Deputy S.A. Hensley stopped a Ford Focus with an expired inspection sticker on Warrenton Road near the commuter lot.
The passenger, identified as 33-year-old Kyle Dunbar of Stafford, was immediately recognized by the deputy as a wanted man for four shoplifting charges and he was detained without incident.
Stafford resident Khadijah Francis, 30, the driver, was cited for driving without a license and detained after a search of the vehicle revealed signs of drug activity and several containers of suspected controlled substances.
During the investigation, both suspects admitted to switching from blue fentanyl pills to what they called “F,” which they described as pure fentanyl.
They told the deputy the blue pills were “too dangerous.”
The pair now face additional charges of possession of controlled substances.
Francis was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 secured bond, while Dunbar remains in custody without bond.
